- Ania21.03.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★The approach to the mine is spectacular. You can see remains of the first smelter in the region. It is one of the few publically accessible underground mines in Australia. Daydream Mine was established in 1882 and mining operations continued on and off for 101 years. Make sure you go for underground mine tour. You can see what life a miner was. Sadly the miners used to die on the early years and had a painful life.
